Health means body and mind: the whole person approach
The mind and body connection is system that is often separated when it shouldn’t be. The whole person approach to health is a term I like to use to explain that in living well, we need to honour our mind and body in the ways they require. But the first step can sometimes be the hardest. Here are some reflection questions to help identify your own unique mind-body needs.
The art of reflection: start with a moment in time
Reflection often feels intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. By pausing at the exact moment and briefly noting the emotions, thoughts, bodily sensations, and behaviours you experience, you can turn a fleeting reaction into clear insight. This simple “moment‑in‑time” tool may be just what you need.
